Weekend in Denver

This weekend I flew down to Denver to visit one of my best girlfriends from college, Stacy.  She is one of a group of 6 of us from college that get together at least once a year.  And we always all have a blast together.  There have been 3 babies out of this group born this year and now Baby Girl Johnson and Baby Girl Shine will be making their debut in the first part of 2013.  Stacy is just about exactly 6 weeks behind me.  So exciting!

Stacy and I talked non-stop for the entire weekend and had lots of laughs...so much so that my newly stretched stomach muscles were aching by the end of the weekend!  Her husband, Nick, cooked us amazing meals and we even went to a University of Denver hockey game, my first ever hockey game.  But mostly we just talked.  Talked about babies, how we are feeling, our lives, our husbands, ideas for the future, and more.  At one point I said, "I wonder what it would be like if we lived in the same town."  And Stacy said, "We wouldn't get anything done!"  Nick even obliged us with our photo shoot requests.  Here's to many more years of friendships and our babies all growing up together!
