She is now grabbing at her toys and our fingers and her hands are much more coordinated. She can sit up when propped or held and is sitting in her Bumbo chair a lot these days, although she starts to slouch to her left when she's tired. She loves to look at books and is very observant of everything around her. She smiles lots when anyone talks to her. She has started being much more vocal as well, talking to her toys and expressing her frustration when on her belly or when she can't get a toy into her mouth. She chews and sucks on her hands and has started to drool.
We are very lucky in that her sleeping through the night has continued. She eats and goes to bed around 8:30pm-9pm, then wakes up usually between 6am-7am. She will eat about 6 times per day and takes a bottle with no problem if needed or when Neil feeds her. She usually takes two to 3 shorter naps of about 30 minutes to an hour and then 1 long nap in the afternoon/early evening that is 2-3 hours. The rest of the time she plays on her play mat, sits in her bouncy chair playing with toys, reads books, sits in the bumbo watching us in the kitchen, talks to her stuffed animals, rides around in the Baby Bjorn checking out the house and the yard with dad, or enjoys walks in the BOB stroller. Life is good for this little gal!
We were lucky enough to have Neil's mom here for 3 weeks staying with us and caring for Cora during the work day, so Cora had her loving grandma to snuggle and play with, which was great for everyone! Neil is off work for 3 weeks watching her during the day now. Then Neil's parents will be back out for a few weeks and then my parents will be here for a couple weeks too. So lots of family here helping with Cora until she is 6 months old and able to go to the local daycare.
Here are some recent photos over the last month and some 4 month photo shoot shots. I know I'm biased, but she is such a cute baby!
