It was Cora's first long road trip and she did great! She slept lots and I periodically sat in the back with her to read books and entertain her with toys and funny faces. We stayed the night in Missoula and arrived at the rental house in Hood River around 5pm Friday. It was soooo good to see everyone!
Neil went skiing and golfing, which is his idea of a perfect vacation, and I mostly went on walks and hung out chatting with the ladies and babies. There was lots of play time on the floor, group baby baths, and laughing at the funny babies. And the house was amazing! 6 bedrooms, a game room, an Irish pub, and a home theater that we of course had to watch a movie in. It was perfect for the 15 of us!
The added bonus was that my parents came up to see us briefly on Saturday!
Cora's schedule didn't get too thrown off and we all slept surprisingly well in the same room with Cora in her pack n play. We drove the entire way home on Monday, with Cora only getting mildly upset at bedtime in the car. First road trip with the baby a success! Overall it was a great weekend with some of the most amazing women I know! Such fun and I miss them and their adorable babies already.
