One month or less to go! And my blood pressure is staying normal..yay! I had my 36 week appointment on Wednesday and my blood pressure was 114/70. I've gained just about 20 pounds and everything seems pretty normal. I requested that we do one more ultrasound at my next appointment in order to check the measurements of the cyst and make sure that everything is okay for a normal delivery. So that is scheduled and hopefully the cyst is still shrinking!
For the most part my aches and pains haven't been too bad lately unless I do a lot of walking or some big excursion. Yesterday we took Cora skiing up at the resort and had lunch with Neil, which was a lot of fun, although I was quite stiff in the afternoon trying to walk around. I do think my hip and pelvic pain has been much better lately though and I can get around pretty well.
Otherwise there's not too much to report. We've started washing and organizing the baby clothes and I've packed most of the stuff I'll need for the hospital. It's nice having done this once before so I somewhat know what to expect and what things I'd like to have with me at the hospital.
I am having Braxton Hicks contractions pretty regularly, typically anywhere from 20 to 5 minutes apart depending on the time of day. I'm trying to consistently drink tons of water in order to stay super hydrated and sometimes that seems to help, but not always. I just keep assuming that I'm not in labor until the pain gets worse or they don't ease up on their own. Could be any day!
I'm so curious what this labor will be like, especially how quick (or not) it will be. People keep telling me that it will be faster than last time. I do hope so, but I also want to make sure we have enough time to get to Bozeman! We'll see what happens!
