I have some amazing friends...wow. Last Saturday around 30 ladies came over to celebrate Baby Johnson and it was so much fun! It was just so wonderful to have all of these great people together hanging out, eating, laughing, and playing with lots of babies. There were four babies and at least 5 pregnant women here...times sure have changed from when I first moved to Big Sky seven years ago!
We had great food and dessert, people filled out cards with hopes for Baby Johnson that will go into a book, there was a celebrity baby/mom match up game, and everyone cut ribbon guessing my belly size. Here are some pictures from the evening...
With Heidi, who I met here in Big Sky in 2005, our first winter out here.
Corina (due 2 weeks after me), Robbeye (baby girl Parker Rose, 10 weeks), and Candice (holding Parker)
Everyone hanging out. Baby Zoey, 10 months.
Mercy (visiting from Seattle), Amber (visiting from Toronto), and Lindsey (visiting from Mississippi)...all used to live in Big Sky and were here for skiing over the holidays.
Heidi, Tracie (lives in Bozeman and also was out here starting in 2005), and Aunge (one of the many ski school instructor friends!)
Cake made by Jen Guenther...delicious!
Opening gifts...people are way too generous! This baby girl has enough clothes to wear multiple outfits everyday!
All the babies...me trying to hold Parker with my gigantic belly in the way.
Will Guenther (almost 2) and Parker Rose. Will helped write down who gave which gifts.
Steph with Parker...the most chill baby in the world! Just about everyone held her.
Chaney with her daughter, Maisie (5 months).
Maisie even took a nap in our crib and used the changing table! Tested and approved!
Seeing which ribbon was closest to the actual belly size...most were bigger, but a couple were very close!!
Amber nailed it with an exact fit...which measured 43 inches...wow!
It was a wonderful evening and fun for everyone to see the newly finished baby room and hang out with eachother. Thank you Rita, Jen, and Candice for all that you did...it was amazing! And thank you to friends and family far away who sent special things ahead of time. Baby Girl Johnson and I really felt the love!
